Custom fabrication for fire escapes and safety ladders is a major  part of our welding business. We will take the necessary measurements and work with you and an engineer to fabricate a fire escape that integrates seamlessly into your building and meets the city's codes and safety requirements.

Can we use your welding services if our company is based in Toronto?

Yes, our steel fabrication shop services multiple cities throughout Ontario including Grimsby, Hamilton, Burlington, Oakville, London, Mississauga, Scarborough and more.  Our shop welders get as much as the custom fabrication work done at the shop, then they will bring the mobile welding truck to complete the job.

Does your fire escape staircases and safety ladders  come with installation from your welding shop?

Yes,  Our welding shop offers professional installation on all our fire exits and safety ladders. All our welders are fully certified and insured.

What sort of warranty comes with the fixed fire ladders and the fire escape staircases?

On fire escapes and ladders, we offer 1 year on welding fabrication and installation. There is no warranty on paint.

Once you have installed our custom-built fire escape or safety ladder, do you offer any maintenance services such as cleaning and painting?

No, we just offer welding repairs.

What is the cost of having a custom steel fabricated fire exit, plus installation?

The cost of a steel fire escape varies. It will depend on a number factors. Mainly the size. We will walk you through the process at the initial consultation.

Do you handle all necessary permits.

Normally the client or engineer will handle the permit process. We can offer you some guidance.

Does your materials you use for your fire escape staircases and safety ladders meet the required fire safety standards and building codes in Hamilton, Ontario?

We only use certified steel and other materials that comply with relevant UL standards, CSA Group standards, and the Ontario Building Code.

What are the different types of safety ladders you offer?

We can custom fabricate a few variations of an emergency fixed safety ladder. Please contact us for your requirements. 

How is my safety ladder or fire exit going to hold up to corrosion?

We can offer you a couple of different finishes that will help your fire escape stairs or fixed safety ladder stand up to the elements for years to come. 

Can I get a repair done to my fire ladder onsite?

Yes, we can send our mobile welding truck for a number of different onsite welding repairs and custom fabrications.

What is your typical completion time from design, fabrication, and installation of a custom fire escape?

Depends on the complexity of the design, the engineer and the size of the project. We will do our best to provide you with a detailed schedule outlining each phase, from initial consultation to the final inspection.

Can I get my emergency fire ladder in yellow?

Yes.

Do your shop welders have experience in customizing and installing fixed safety ladders?

Yes, our welding shop employees very experiend welders.

Our company in St. Catharines needs some welding repairs on our fixed safety ladders. How soon could your mobile welders come?

It depends how busy we are. We always try and get to our quotes as soon as possible. Please call us so we can arrange a time to meet up with you as soon as possible.

Do you do folding safety  ladders?

No, not at this time.

What sort of safety measures do you implement while onsite?

We have strict safety protocols for our employees, including mandatory safety training, and the required use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
